What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, TIFF, and HEIC/HEIF (the format iPhones use by default) are all supported.
Can I reorder images before converting?
Yes — each image becomes its own page, in the order shown. Remove any image with the × before converting.
What does the Page layout setting do?
A4 portrait, landscape pictures turned to fill the page (default): every page is A4 portrait. Pictures taken in landscape are turned 90 degrees so they use the whole page when printed. This is best for printing; turn the printout to view those pictures.
A4, keep every picture upright: every page is A4, but landscape pictures get a landscape page, so nothing is turned. Best for reading on screen.
Fit to picture size: each page has the same shape as its picture, with no A4 page. Best for sharing on screen; page sizes can differ, so printing may scale pictures.
What does the Margin setting do?
Margin is the white border around each picture on A4 pages. Choose None, Small (about 6 mm), Medium (about 15 mm, the default) or Large (about 25 mm). A bigger margin makes the picture a little smaller but gives a cleaner printout, because many printers cannot print right to the edge of the paper. Margin does not apply to Fit to picture size.
Are my pictures cropped or stretched?
No. Every picture keeps its original proportions and is never cropped. It is only scaled to fit inside the page. Very large pictures (over about 2,300 pixels on the long side) are reduced slightly to keep the PDF a manageable size.
Which settings should I choose?
To print: keep the defaults (A4 portrait with turned landscape pictures, Medium margin). To read on a phone or computer: choose A4 with every picture upright, or Fit to picture size. If a printout cuts off the edges, choose a Large margin.
Will my images be stored or shared?
No. Files are processed and deleted from our servers shortly after your download.
